Refund and Returns Policy

This Refunds & Returns Policy page is a general overview of these policies and specifically apply to products obtained directly from Brutal Honesty or its immediate, sister/partner brands. Brutal Honesty uses production partners, however, for manufacturing and shipping of customer orders. These production partners, such as Printify, Gelato, and others, may have their own individual refund or return policies.

The policies here are subject to change without notice, and will be refined as business relationships with our production partners and sister brands strengthen and become more established and long-term.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Returns, replacements, and refunds are only available for items that are defective or damaged upon receipt. Because the items here are customized items, they are essentially deemed “as is” purchases when bought. As such, an item cannot be returned, replaced, or refunded simply because you didn’t like the color, didn’t order the right size, or the font doesn’t fit your lifestyle aesthetic.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and unworn (for clothing and accessories) and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The return policy of the individual production partner responsible for manufacturing your ordered item will be the policy in place with regard to the return or replacement of a specific item. As we are the order portal only, we do not manufacture, package, or ship any of our products to our customers.

ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED HERE REGARDING REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR REPLACEMENTS IS SUPERCEDED BY THE REFUND, RETURN, OR REPLACEMENT POLICY IN PLACE BY THE PRODUCTION PARTNER RESPONSIBLE FOR MANUFACTURING, PACKAGING, AND SHIPPING ITEMS.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

If you received an item that was defective or damaged upon receipt, the first step in the process is to contact Brutal Honesty. We can be reached by email at brutalhonestyofficial@gmail.com or you can view our Contact Us page. We will then engage in a conversation with you to determine what options, if any, are available to help you get a replacement or a refund for your purchase.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Clearance items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Clearance items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at brutalhonestyofficial@gmail.com so we can connect with our production partners to resolve any issues.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should contact us by email for further instructions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless other provisions are in place with the original manufacturer of the item (as determined by each production partner). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
